It’s easy to collect online payments in your formaloos. You can either accept a fixed amount or calculate the total payable amount based on the user’s choices on your formaloo.
1. Create a payment method (if you have not yet)
First, you’ll need to create a payment method. Currently, Formaloo supports Stripe, PayPal, Square, and RazorPay. You can also suggest adding your payment method to Formaloo’s roadmap. We launch the most requested features every month.
To create a new payment method, click on the profile icon at the top menu of your dashboard. Then select “Payment methods.”
It opens the payment methods page in which you can create your methods. Click on the “Create new payment method” link to create one.
Add a title for your method so you can recognize it later. Then enter your Stripe’s secret key and published key. Select Stripe as your payment method and hit save. Voilà! You’ve connected your Stripe to your Formaloo account so far!
2. Set up a Calculator to calculate the total payable amount
Edit your formaloo and open the Calculator. It opens the calculator page in which you can set up the calculation.
By clicking on each field, you can add one or multiple calculation conditions to it. Click on the “Add a calculation” button and customize your calculation.
You can create “Product” fields and customize and sell your products using them. Edit your formaloo and drag the “Product” field. Then drop it to your formaloo. Customize its name, minimum and maximum amount, unit price, and photo. In this case, you won’t even need the Calculator! The form will automatically calculate the total payable amount based on the number of selected items on each product. Pretty cool, right?!
