Ranking fields to allow users submit priorities

When a survey asks what matters most, selected options only tell you part of the story. Separate rating fields are hard to compare, and free text does not preserve a usable order. This release lets you collect priority order directly, carry it into your workflow, and understand the overall result in one place.
Ranking Field: priorities in the order people mean
The Ranking Field gives respondents a list they can put in order. Add it from the Rating & Ranking section of the Add field panel, then create choices one by one or use bulk import. Respondents can drag each option or choose its position from a numbered dropdown.
The starting order is only the order people see when the form loads. A rank is recorded when a respondent actively reorders an option or assigns its position. The Clear all action resets the list, and you can translate both the drag hint and the action label for multilingual forms.
After submission, the order stays useful. Your data block shows numbered pills for each ranked option, and Charts & Insights shows the average rank for every option. A lower average means people placed that option closer to the top.
You can also pipe the ordered labels into emails and PDFs. Answer piping returns a comma-separated list in the respondent's order, while the default email and PDF outputs show the submitted ranking as a numbered list.
What has changed:
- The Add field panel now includes Ranking under Rating & Ranking, before Matrix.
- The form editor supports adding, deleting, reordering, and bulk-importing ranking choices.
- Respondents can rank options by dragging them or selecting a numbered position.
- Clear all resets the field to its builder-defined starting order.
- The drag hint and Clear all label support translation and customization.
- Data blocks display each ranked form submission as numbered pill chips in the submitted order.
- Charts & Insights shows an Average Rank chart, with the best-ranked option closest to position one.
- Answer piping carries ordered labels into supported surfaces, including the Email Editor and PDF Editor.
Workspace Cleanup: review old forms in one place
Older workspaces collect test forms, abandoned drafts, and campaigns that no longer receive submissions. Finding the right forms and deleting them one at a time takes attention away from current work. Workspace Cleanup gives Owners and Admins a focused list for the current workspace, without deleting anything automatically.
Open Cleanup from your profile picture menu. The page groups forms into three categories: forms created over a year ago with zero submissions, forms that received submissions before but none in the last year, and forms not updated in three or more months that still have zero submissions.
Each category shows its count and the details you need to review it. You can open the form, check its folder and slug, compare submission and date information, sort the list, and select one form or many. Bulk deletion includes a confirmation step with the number of selected forms and their combined submissions.
What has changed:
- Cleanup is available from the profile picture menu to Workspace Owners and Admins on every plan.
- The page shows forms only from the currently selected workspace.
- Three separate categories identify old forms with no submissions, inactive forms, and unused forms.
- Category tables show the form title, folder, slug, submission count, creation date, last update, and last submission.
- Forms with zero submissions show Never as their last-submission value.
- You can delete one form, selected forms, or every matching form in a category after confirmation.
- Date and submission columns can be sorted to make review faster.
- When every category is empty, the page shows Your workspace is clean.
Slider Field: visual numeric input with clean data
Some questions need a number, but a text box or fixed rating scale does not fit. The Slider Field lets respondents choose a value by dragging a handle across a range you control. Add it from Rating & Ranking in the field picker.
The default range is 0 to 100. You can set your own minimum and maximum, show or hide the selected value, and display that value as a percentage. Percentage display changes what the respondent sees, not the stored answer.
Every submission remains a number that can be used in form submission tables, exports, calculations, advanced logic, API output, and answer piping. The Slider Field works with touch, keyboard navigation, and screen readers, so the same input remains usable across desktop and mobile forms.
What has changed:
- The field picker now includes Slider under Rating & Ranking.
- Builders can set a custom minimum and maximum, with 0 and 100 as the defaults.
- Show selected value controls whether respondents see the number while moving the slider.
- Display as percentage can show
43%instead of43 / 100without changing the stored answer. - The builder preview updates as the Slider Field settings change.
- Submitted values remain plain numbers across form submissions, exports, APIs, and answer piping.
- Numeric advanced logic can react to the selected value.
- Touch, keyboard, screen-reader, and responsive behavior are supported.
Improvements
- Repeating section exports use readable subfield titles. Excel exports, Google Sheets sync, webhooks, and related rendered output now use each subfield's title instead of its internal slug. Existing Google Sheets integrations that use legacy slug keys continue to work.
- Repeating sections validate required subfields before the next page. Respondents must complete the required subfields before moving forward, and the form points to the specific missing field.
- CSAT icons are much more distinguishable. Star and heart icons now keep clearer contrast against light field backgrounds.
- AI Analysis keeps its structure in the row sidebar. Headings, paragraphs, lists, links, and line breaks now render as readable Markdown in rollout updates.
- Choice fields support an
Is notfilter. You can exclude a selected option when filtering choice-field data, including views that need to show every status except one. - Multiple-choice fields support reservation controls in the builder. You can manage per-option availability, and options that are no longer available stay out of the choice list.
- Email Verification lets respondents correct an address. After selecting Verify, respondents can use Wrong email? Change it to reactivate the email field, enter the correct address, and verify again without clearing the rest of the form.
Better experiences
Forms
- + New respects the current folder. New forms and projects are created inside the folder where you started the action.
- URL parameters can prefill one or more multiple-choice options. Use
?multi=1for one option or?multi=1&multi=2for several options, and the prefilled form submission remains valid. - Mobile multi-page forms keep one cover image. The public form no longer duplicates the cover from page two onward.
- Embedded one-time forms keep the host page position. Submitting the form no longer shifts focus or scrolls the surrounding page.
- Multi-page forms enforce required fields and keep back navigation available. Respondents can correct missing information without getting stuck between pages.
- Ending-page tables support horizontal scrolling. Every column stays reachable in the form editor.
- Choice fields show one selection ripple. A single click now looks like a single action.
Data & analytics
- Repeating section subfields and saved values appear across affected form copies. Previously collected data is visible again in the relevant views.
- Default Answer piping saves the resolved value. Form submissions store the value shown to the respondent instead of the raw field or variable token.
- Filtered exports keep the active filter. Exported files contain the selected subset rather than every form submission.
- Checkbox values show their correct state in results tables. The table view now matches the form submission details.
PDFs
- Generated PDFs include both date and time. Date-time fields keep the submitted time instead of showing only the date.
Account & settings
- Folder access levels carry into projects. Projects inherit the folder's Admin or Member access level. For an existing folder, editing its access level applies the correction.
- Free-workspace settings keep toggles aligned. Settings remain consistent and easier to scan.
- Workspace subdomains are clearer. The settings view now shows the missing dot between the chosen subdomain and its domain.
