Here’s a roundup of the latest updates at Formaloo!

1. Major update to HubSpot integration

We’ve made significant improvements to our HubSpot integration! This update enables seamless synchronization with Contacts, Companies, and Deals directly inside Formaloo, with just one click.

• Before: Previously, users had to rely on third-party tools like Zapier or Make.com to integrate Formaloo with HubSpot, which added complexity and required additional steps to set up and maintain.
• Solution: Now, Formaloo offers a direct HubSpot integration, allowing you to automatically sync data between Formaloo and HubSpot, ensuring your CRM is always up-to-date without the need for external tools.
• Benefit: This integration saves you time, reduces the risk of errors from manual data entry, and simplifies the process of keeping your CRM current and accurate.
• Example: A sales team collects lead data through a form in Formaloo, and it automatically updates in HubSpot in real-time, keeping the CRM up-to-date without needing manual intervention or third-party tools.

2. Introducing the “On Update” logical trigger

We’ve added the much-requested “On Update” logical trigger to Formaloo’s logic rules. This allows actions to be triggered when a response is updated, not just when it's submitted.

• Before: Your workflows might require actions based on updates, not just new submissions. For example, tracking changes in project status could require multiple steps.
• Solution: The On Update logical trigger now lets you trigger actions when a response is updated, such as moving a kanban card to a new column in your CRM.
• Benefit: Automate real-time actions based on user updates, making your workflow more dynamic and reducing manual effort.
• Example: A project manager uses this trigger to notify the team as a deal moves through different stages in the pipeline, saving time and improving communication.

3. Portals edit row – Now available for everyone!

We’ve taken the portals feature to the next level! The Portals Edit Row functionality is now out of beta and available for all users. This update allows your portal users to see and edit their own data, ensuring that they can manage their information without accessing or altering data from others.

• Before: Previously, users could only view their own data in the portal, but they were unable to edit it. This created a limitation for users who needed to make updates or changes to their own information.
• Solution: Now, with Portals Edit Row, users can edit their own data directly within the portal, without the ability to alter other users' data.
• Benefit: Enhance security and personalization by allowing users to independently manage their information, reducing human error and improving overall data management.
• Example: A project manager can allow employees to manage their own profile information in the portal, such as updating contact details or role assignments, without the risk of accidental changes to other profiles.

4. Custom CSS and JS – Full customization for your apps

We’ve introduced Custom CSS and Custom JS features to allow full personalization of your apps and portals.

• Before: You needed more control over branding and integration with tracking tools, but existing customization options were limited.
• Solution: With Custom CSS and Custom JS, you can fully personalize the design and functionality of your app, including integrating Google Analytics and Hotjar for tracking user behavior.
• Benefit: This feature helps enterprises maintain brand consistency and gives them the ability to track and optimize user interactions.
• Example: A large company can implement their own branding on their portals and track user interactions across their apps without the need for external tools.

5. Customize your page width, font, and more!

We’ve introduced customization options that let you adjust page width, change font styles, and add page covers for a more personalized look.

• Before: One-size-fits-all layouts can feel restrictive, especially when you need more flexibility in design.
• Solution: You can now adjust the page width, change fonts, and set a page cover to create a layout that suits your brand.
• Benefit: These options provide full control over your app’s design, allowing you to create a unique and engaging experience for users.
• Example: A marketing team can now create an app that matches their website's branding, improving the user experience and engagement.

6. Easier publishing and sharing options

Publishing your app and sharing it with your team or audience has never been easier. We’ve simplified the entire process to make it faster and more efficient.

Now, you can publish your app directly with a single click, preview it instantly, and set up a custom domain for a more personalized experience.

In addition to sharing with your team, you can easily embed your app into your website by copying a simple iframe code. This makes your app accessible to a wider audience without leaving your website.

If you need to update your app, there’s also a convenient Unpublish option, giving you full control over when and how your app is made public. This allows you to make changes or perform maintenance without impacting your users.

These updates make sharing your project and collaborating with your team smoother than ever.

• Before: Publishing and sharing your app used to involve multiple steps and complex processes.
• Solution: We’ve simplified the publishing process, allowing you to publish your app instantly, share it with your team, and even embed it on your website.
• Benefit: This update saves you time, allowing you to launch and share your app with ease.
• Example: A team can quickly publish and share a form for internal feedback, then embed it on their website for customer use, all within minutes.

7. New profile fields for portals users

We’ve added the ability to include custom profile fields for portal users, helping you collect more specific information.

• Before: You needed to collect more specific information from your portal users while ensuring security and compliance.
• Solution: You can now add custom profile fields for users, allowing you to gather additional data while complying with GDPR.
• Benefit: This update gives you the ability to collect personalized data and manage it securely.
• Example: A company could add fields for employee certifications or skills, enabling employees to update their own profiles while ensuring compliance with GDPR.

8. Improved logic UX

We’ve redesigned the Logic UX to make setting up logic rules faster and more efficient.

• Before: Setting up complex logic rules was previously time-consuming and confusing.
• Solution: The new Logic UX design makes it easier to set up complex workflows with more options and flexibility.
• Benefit: You can create and manage advanced logic flows with less effort, improving workflow efficiency.
• Example: A customer support team can set up a complex workflow to automatically escalate tickets based on customer feedback, reducing manual intervention.

9. New templates for faster tool building

We’ve rolled out new templates to help you build apps faster! Whether you're working on a business solution or creating AI-powered tools, our updated templates allow you to get started quickly and customize easily.

• Before: Starting from scratch can be time-consuming, especially when you need a custom tool for your business.
• Solution: Our new templates allow you to quickly create and customize tools for your team or business needs.
• Benefit: Save time and reduce development costs by using pre-built templates that you can easily modify to fit your specific needs.
• Example: A team working on a project management tool can quickly start with a template designed for this purpose, customizing it as they go.
